شہر خموشاں کے مکین بن گئے ہیں میرے پیارے بابا
مجھ سے بچھڑئے اور افق میں گم ہوگئے ہیں میرے پیارے باب
ہے نیندوں میں بھی اب میرے خوابوں کا ادھورا سا سفر
لگتا ہے زمین خواب سے بھی رخصت ہوگئے ہیں میرے پیارے باب
میں آبلہ پا سی کاسہ گدائی لئے پھرتی ہوں در بدر
لوگو ! مجھے بھی بتاو کہاں سے ملتے ہیں" بابا"؟
