ہاں بھلا کر ترا بھلا ہوگا
اور درویش کی صدا کیا ہے
جان تم پر نثار کرتا ہوں
میں نہیں جانتا دعا کیا ہے
میں نے مانا کہ کچھ نہیں غالبؔ
مفت ہاتھ آئے تو برا کیا ہے
آسماں پر شوق کا طوفان لایا ہے مجھے
امتحاں سے کم نہیں ہیں دید کے یہ مرحلے
اب مقامِ طور پر جب عش لایا ہے مجھے
خواب سا وہ بن گیا رنگِ سخن میں ڈھل گیا
موسمِ دل نے عجب منظر دکھایا ہے مجھے
خود کو ہم نے آزمایا دُور رہ کر اصل میں
یہ نہ کہنا تم کہ اُس نے آزمایا ہے مجھے
پیار اُس کا چھا گیا ابرِ بہاراں کی طرح
شمع غم کی دھوپ سے اس نے بچایا ہے مجھے
