ہے نیا سال آنے کو جانا
تم بھی اس کے ساتھ آجانا
برسوں سے نہیں دیکھا تمہیں ان آنکھوں نے
تم کو اے قسم اب ہمیں نہ تڑپانا
ہو رہی ہے دسمبر کی آخری شام کی آمد
جو آئیں پنچھی اپنے گھر تم بھی لوٹ آنا
نہ جلانا اس دل کو اپنے نہ آنے کی خبر دے کر
اپنے آنے کی خوشی دے کر میرے سونے آنگن کو تم مہکانا
