سب کچھ غلط ہے خود کو بتانا پڑا مجھے
خود آگہی سے ہاتھ اٹھانا پڑا مجھے
بڑھتا ہی جا رہا تھا لحد پر بہت ہجوم
کتبے سے اپنا نام مٹانا پڑا مجھے
ہر روز خود کو ڈھونڈنے گھر سے نکل پڑا
ہر شام، خالی لوٹ کے آنا پڑا مجھے
اپنی نظر میں آپ ہی میں معتبر رہا
پھر یوں ہوا کہ خود کو گرانا پڑا مجھے
نابینا صفت شہر میں کس کا بھلا کروں؟
سوچوں کا آفتاب بجھانا پڑا مجھے
