Hopes are dropping like dry leaves..! The passage of time has brought
The numerous wrinkles on face spot
Once I was young like fhou
I had pomp power and glow
Alas! the terrible moments came
Leaving my mind old and lame
Now I can think but can not do
I have nothing to say but adieu
Hopes are dropping like dry leaves
Memories became incurable diseases
Where are the days so glad so good
The days I passed in the babyhood
All has gone all has lost
No fanatics loved me most
All is buried under the dust of past
And I am wandering in a desert of blast Shafique Shakir

تیرے عشق کا ہے انداز عجب تیرے عشق کا ہے انداز عجب، آزار بھی ہے تو قرار بھی ہے
تیری رسم و راہ اور رمز عجب، آسان بھی ہے دشوار بھی ہے
کیوں تیری رضا ہےعزیز تر، احساس تیرا کیوں قریب تر
تیرے حرف سزا میں دلبر، شکوہ بھی ہے اور پیار بھی ہے
نہ عقل میں آیا گماں میں یہ، میں نے کھوجا اس کو برسوں سے
تیری نظر کرم کی شان عجب، انکار بھی ہے اقرار بھی ہے
اعجاز تیری ہے محبت کا، یہ رنگ ہے تیری ہی الفت کا
اس عالم میں بس اک شاکر، نادار بھی ہے زردار بھی ہے
