اس بھرے شہر میں کوئی ایسا نہیں
جو مجھے راہ چلتے کو پہچان لے
اور آواز دے او بے او سرپھرے
دونوں اک دوسرے سے لپٹ کر وہیں
گرد و پیش اور ماحول کو بھول کر
گالیاں دیں ہنسیں ہاتھاپائی کریں
پاس کے پیڑ کی چھاؤں میں بیٹھ کر
گھنٹوں اک دوسرے کی سنیں اور کہیں
اور اس نیک روحوں کے بازار میں
میری یہ قیمتی بے بہا زندگی
ایک دن کے لیے اپنا رخ موڑ لے
