When the morning came

Poet: Nauman Ahmad By: Nauman Ahmad, nowshera

Went to get killed once again
Ready steady, went to work again
When the morning came
It was hard to leave the warmth of thy bed, in winter’s time
But sun was new, as was the grass and the tress on top
When the morning came
Let me recall my favorite thing
Half fried egg, with tea and bread, brought by life
When the morning came
