اک گرد باد میں تو اوجھل ہوا نظر سے
اس دشت بے ثمر سے جز خاک کچھ نہ پایا
اے چوب خشک صحرا وہ باد شوق کیا تھی
میری طرح برہنہ جس نے تجھے بنایا
پھر ہم ہیں نیم شب ہے اندیشۂ عبث ہے
وہ واہمہ کہ جس سے تیرا یقین آیا
