آیا تو یار میرا نہیں انتظار کیا
ہم کو رلائے گا یہ نیا سال دوستو
روؤں گا یاد کرکے اسے وہ ملا نہ جب
ہر سال آئے گا یہ نیا سال دوستو
ہروقت دل میں یاد رہے گی اسی کی جب
پھر بیت جائے گا یہ نیا سال دوستو
خوشیاں تلاش کرتا رہوں گا میں ہر گھڑی
دکھرے مکائے گا یہ نیا سال دوستو
پورے ہوئے نہ پیار کے وعدے مرے اگر
سر پھر جھکائے گا یہ نیا سال دوستو
