دعا ہے کہ چاروں طرف ہو قوس قزا تیرے
زند گی جب کبھی صحرا ٹھرے
ہونا محسوس کہیں دنیا میں تنہائی تھجے
رونقیں خود سمٹ آئیں تو جہاں ٹہرے
تیری وفا کی کھائی ہم نے قسمیں بہت
تجدید عہد نہ کہیں وہ تیری ادا ٹہرے
کچھ مجبوریوں نے ملنے سے روکے رکھا
اور لوگوں کی نظر میں ہم بے وفا ٹہرے
تیری خوشی کے لیے چھوڑ دیں گے دنیا داری
ڈر ہے بند زباں نہ تیری جفا ٹہرے
منا ہی لوں گا کبھی اپنی جان کو نگاش
زندگی گر میرے پاس ذرا سا ٹہرے
