ترا ذکر میری کتاب میں نہیں آئے گا
نہیں جائے گی کسی آنکھ سے کہیں روشنی
کوئی خواب اس کے عذاب میں نہیں آئے گا
کوئی خود کو صحرا نہیں کرے گا مری طرح
کوئی خواہشوں کے سراب میں نہیں آئے گا
دل بد گماں ترے موسموں کو نوید ہو
کوئی خار دست گلاب میں نہیں آئے گا
اسے لاکھ دل سے پکار لو اسے دیکھ لو
کوئی ایک حرف جواب میں نہیں آئے گا
تری راہ تکتے رہے اگرچہ خبر بھی تھی
کہ یہ دن بھی تیرے حساب میں نہیں آئے گا
