across a city where s everyone in loss
a city in which gardens are flowerless
in it s people there s common selfishness
people of this city are confused
by them mostly facts are refused
they have blessings but if no use
or they dont know how to use
life is sorrowful for all of the people
to them it does not seem to be precious
Let s change our colorless concept of life
Let s Change Our Lens and make it bright
let s close our eyes just for a while
and think that where have gone our smiles?
we will then come to realize
our behaviors have overwhelmed our smiles
loyalty is rare and the world is cold
on false beliefs we are bold
On knowing one thing , our problems will end
that which of brain s region must be used and when?

کس بات کی آخر جلدی ہے کس بات کا پھر یہ رونا ہے
دنیا کے مصائب جھیلنے کو مالک نے بنایا ہے جیون
آرام بھلا پھر کاہے کا پھر کاہے یہ سونا ہے
بے مقصد جینا کہتے ہیں حیوان کے جیسا جینے کو
انساں کے لیے تو یہ جیون یارو پر خار بچھونا ہے
دشوار سہی رستہ لیکن چلنا ہے ہمیں منزل کی طرف
منزل کی طلب میں عاکفؔ جی کچھ پانا ہے کچھ کھونا ہے
