تیری یاد کے دیے جلائے بیٹھی ہوں
کب لوٹ آؤ، آس لگائے بیٹھی ہوں
تجھ سے بچھٹرے یوں تو صدیاں بیت چکی
پھر بھی دل کی راہ سجائے بیٹھی ہوں
پھولوں کی رت گھرکا رستہ بھول گئی
کانٹوں کے انبار لگائے بیٹھی ہوں
روح پہ طاری ہونے لگی صدموں سے تھکن
کرچی کرچی خواب اٹھائے بیٹھی ہوں
سکھ کا سورج اس جانب کب نکلےگا
کب سے دکھ کے سائے سائے بیٹھی ہوں
درد کا دل تو بڑھا ہوا ہے آج صدف
میں ہونٹوں پر مہر لگائے بیٹھی ہوں
