موت ہی کے عظیم ڈر میں ہیں
اتنے خدشے نہیں ہیں رستوں میں
جس قدر خواہش سفر میں ہیں
سیپ اور جوہری کے سب رشتے
شعر اور شعر کے ہنر میں ہیں
سایۂ راحت شجر سے نکل
کچھ اڑانیں جو بال و پر میں ہیں
عکس بے نقش ہو گئے امجدؔ
لوگ پھر آئنوں کے ڈر میں ہیں
