Or they live in own homes
What for,
air and sky
Earth and food in fact,
Not for poor
They must use contraceptive
Lo what a good idea
Maybe thrown in the river
What need of them here?
This way,
Man for fish
Fish for man
Water and land come near
When stars spread over the sky
I often think,
Whether it is sufficient?
If yes,
why people light Lams?
Why the moon appears?
Should you believe?
Are horrible weapons not enough?
To win wars by techniques
Or by God gifted courage
Meanwhile my son gets up
That means dawn is about to break
Again a question arises
From where dawn appears
The moon and sun
Failed to realize hope and dreams
Does not it means?
No sky on their heads
once again I think,
Should east has to search
its own sky?
Or to look the big boss???

کس بات کی آخر جلدی ہے کس بات کا پھر یہ رونا ہے
دنیا کے مصائب جھیلنے کو مالک نے بنایا ہے جیون
آرام بھلا پھر کاہے کا پھر کاہے یہ سونا ہے
بے مقصد جینا کہتے ہیں حیوان کے جیسا جینے کو
انساں کے لیے تو یہ جیون یارو پر خار بچھونا ہے
دشوار سہی رستہ لیکن چلنا ہے ہمیں منزل کی طرف
منزل کی طلب میں عاکفؔ جی کچھ پانا ہے کچھ کھونا ہے
