Flight of Imagination
Imagination is a precious gift
A burly source to lift and then shift
It makes me land in the world
Where there is no torture
It takes us to that land
Shacking off all whats bland
Which is yet untrespassed, unexplored
Only imagination will make it in our afford
Where there are no animosities
No persecutions, no ignominies
No slackness, no torpor
No injustice, no torture
Where there is no brutality
Where there is just fraternity
Devoid of any atrocity
No concept of fiefdom and slavery
It allows us to revel
And with wings we travel
It will let us stay there as long as we want
But listen once reaching there never play truant
This world is too small for adventures
Please put away all biased debentures
All those grotesque indentures
Meant to give a free hand to tormentors
And in imagination i see people
Cooperating and affectionate
Caring, cautious and considerate
Forgetting their petty differences
Putting aside all grievances
Imagination takes me to the Burman Muslims
Muslims, dead, bruised swathed with muslins
Now happy, united and dedicated to Islam
Gone are the rulers fickle and sham
My heart feels so buoyant
So pleased and i feel so light
Thank God, their wailings and screams are dissipated
Fissiparous proclivities all no more anticipated
Tell me please is it possible only in imagination?
Who would ignite the flame of self-determination?
Will you become the torch bearer?
Full of hope and candour?
Or you, or you, any one of you?
I hope soon you would get a clue
And there would be a horizon anew
All that’s required stick to Islamic hue
You will be the victors, though a few
