کوئی نہ دل سے کسی کو نکال کر پھینکے
کبھی نہ پوری ہو مولا مراد نفرت کی
کبھی کبھی وہ مجھے پیار اتنا دیتا تھا
کبھی کبھی بہت آتی تھی یاد نفرت کی
گلاب سوکھ گئے ہیں ہوئے ہیں خار ہرے
ہوس نے پیار میں ڈالی ہے کھاد نفرت کی
یہ دوست برسر پیکار ہونے لگ گئے ہیں
تو وجہ بننے لگی ہے فساد نفرت کی
اس ایک شخص کو چاہوں گا تا دم آخر
وہ جس نے مجھ سے محبت کے بعد نفرت کی
نہ کوئی تیر نہ سازش نہ تہمتیں نہ حسد
کسی نے مجھ سے بڑی بے سواد نفرت کی
کہ اس کا درد محبت کے دکھ سے تھوڑا ہے
