PAIN

Poet: JIBRAIEL JACKSON SHAMS By: JIBRAIEL JACKSON SHAMS, ISLAMABAD

HOW LONG WILL I OBTAIN?
PAIN AND JUST PAIN.

NEVER TASTE A DROP OF GLES,
BUT SHOWERS IN SORROWS' RAIN,

NEVER FELT A WARM TOUCH,
BUT HARSH SAYING, USED TO STRAIN.

WOULD THAT, DIED WHEN CHILD,
WOULD'VE NOT DYING IN CHAIN.

HEART DEAD PEOPLE AROUND ME,
TAKING MY EMOTIONS FOR INSANE.

OH! LIFE WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL,
BY MY SIDE, SHE WOULD'VE LAIN.

TEARS DROPPING ON THESE VERSES,
SOUNDS LIKE RAIN HITTING WINDOWPANE.

ONLY THAN, MY HEART WOULD BE IN PEACE,
WHEN SORROWS WILL HAVE IT SLAIN.
