Fragrance

Poet: Ayesha Irfan By: Ayesha Irfan, Lahore

It was a fascinated scene
To watch flowers bloom in every spring
I always love to watch these flowers
But this spring I sensed something different in flowers
They shone like they had never been
Their radiance was different that I had ever seen
Though their shine attracts every passenger
Their beauty was eye-catching for every traveler
Their sweet fragrance that I loved most
It seemed that flowers somewhere had lost
Despite a sharp smell welcomed me
Now, it was not worth attractive for me
I wonder where their fragrance has gone
The simplicity that I loved the most
It seemed that flowers somewhere had lost
