Lonely Courage

Poet: Mubina By: Mubina, Lahore

They hide their tears
Let hope fight their fears
They stop their fists
Let silence write their lists

It is a quiet aura that screams pain
It is a timid stone that never gains

They built cotton armours
Let scars keep them calmer
They give up bitterness
Let kindness be their harness

It is a quiet fist that hurts
It is a subtle insecurity that bursts

They grabs branches as their sticks
Let seldom offer them bits
They fight for the weak
Let others escape from their fatigue

It is a quiet word that weighs heavy
It is solid support that keeps you steady
